The Clevland Embalmers Association began about 1935 with the first meeting being held at Pak Products and various funeral homes.
The man who first foresaw the need of an Embalmers Association was Charles F. Malasca, Professional Embalmer.
The first meetings held from 1935 -1938 consisted mostly of open discussions on emablming problems. Out of this came ideas for a stronger Embalmers Association
Since 1938 when the Constitution was adopted, the organization has held monthly meetings. Educational Clinics have been conducted yearly with foremost speakers from all parts of the country, conducting demonstrations and lectures.
In 1973 the name changed to Embalmbers Society of Clevland
In 1977 the name changed to the current name of Embalmers Association of Clevland.
