Geraldine L. "Gerri" Shopp (nee Golenieski), age 77, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 57 years of Steve. Devoted mother of Michael and David (Dawn). Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Nicholas, Emma and Gabriel. Loving daughter of the late Edmund and the late Sophie Golenieski. Dear sister of Dolores Kozlowski and the late Regina Budd (the late Eugene). Sister-in-law of Irene Giel (Robert) and the late Arthur Stanton (the late Alice). Loving Godmother of Darlene Longoria and David Kozlowski. Aunt, great aunt and great great aunt of many. Family will receive friends in THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., ( RT. 21, S. OF ROCKSIDE), THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2023 FROM 6-9 PM AND FRIDAY MARCH 10, 2023 FROM 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Morning prayers at the funeral home Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:45 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma, at 11:30 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
